Creating and Registering OIC CSF Key in Oracle Fusion

We often get integration requirements where we need to capture the business events that occurs in Oracle Fusion application.

In the example we will use OIC as our integration platform.

We can check the list of business events exposed in the respective Fusion application with the help of below URL.

https://(FADomain)/soa-infra/PublicEvent/catalog

Example: https://xxxx-test.fa.us6.oraclecloud.com/soa-infra/PublicEvent/catalog

Now we will see how to get CSF key for an OIC integration instance.

----------Steps to get CSF Key For OIC Integration Instance------------

• Login to the OIC instance
• Click on Username icon and then click on about as shown in below screenshots

•  Here we need to look for "Service Instance" and "Identity Domain".

     The CSF key will be concatenation of Identity Domain and Service Instance

     csf key example->  idcs-gga0e04705804cb89bad6356bb90556bIntegration

---------------------Steps to Register CSF key in Oracle Fusion-------------------

• Login to Fusion application SOA composer with below URL format:

        https://(FADomain)/soa/composer

        Example:  https://xxxx-test.fa.us6.oraclecloud.com/soa/composer

Note-: 

We need to have SOA operator or SOA designer role to access the above url.

These roles are inherited by roles such as Application Administrator,Supply Chain Application Administrator,BPM Workflow System Admin Role. We can also Create a custom Role for SOA Operator or SOA Designer and assign to User as these roles cannot be assigned directly.

• After logging in, click on manage security as shown in below screenshot.

• Provide the CSF key that we created in above step. Provide the username and password of OIC user. Finally click on register to register the CSF key.
